Adeday Microfinance Institutions S.C (AMFI) was established by the initiation and financing of the Women’s Association of Tigray (WAT) officially on 24 June 2014. It is active in providing financial services in the Tigray region after obtaining a license from the National Bank of Ethiopia.
Our company, Adeday, started working with an initial capital of 25 million by opening seven branches in seven zones of the region and now it is providing services in 52 branches. In an effort to increase our capital capacity, it reached over 137 million birr. Adeday Microfinance S.C has helped 1.3 million customers to enter development work.
In an activity to collect wealth, over 2.8 billion birr was mobilized in the economy, and 2.16 billion birr was paid to savers. Currently, there are 602,666,158 outstanding loans and 15,680 active numbers of borrowers (June 2024).
Efforts are being made to provide effective and efficient services. Adeday is connecting all branches via core banking solutions to take the service to a higher level.
